cedar shingles

Blog neglected during visit to Scotland.

But while away, Paul and Paul (the roofers) have continued with the arduous and painstaking work of laying the cedar shingle roof tiles.







I'm not sure whether my photographic skills really capture the beauty of the roof as the shingles are applied. but that's what it is.

    Going very well up here, thanks, Rob. We now live in green wellies and keep hens (who with all the water around at the moment must think they're ducks!)!! Do let me know if you're up this way again, we'd be very pleased to see you.
