We had an old hen,...I too have a similar sad story. We had an old hen, Bridget, who was well past her egg-laying days, but was "top hen". One day she didn't come out of the coop. The other hens all went back in and sat with her for a while. Ten minutes after they left, she was dead.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
