rainbow bunch
Still away but almost back! Hoping that the rainbow carrots have swollen with buckets of rain while we bathed in sunshine.
The red ones better get going too. Yellow and white go well with orange, but burgundy red would look stunning in the bunch.

Those look wonderful! just like they do on the seed packet. I have never had any success with carrots, I have a heavy clay soil which they just don't like.
We grow ours in buckets filled with compost. No worry about heavy soil and above the level of carrot root fly attack.
I tried those last yr. & the GGS's loved them. They really were overjoyed to learn where carrots come from. It was a hoot watching them learn.
