bees go boogalloo for borage

Readers of this blog will know my affection for borage. It has beautiful blue flowers that bees go boogalloo for. Its flowers are used in Pims at Wimbledon.

It is quite a bulky and exuberant plant and this makes it difficult to fit into the allotment because it crowds out other plants.

There are no problems, only challenges and opportunities I hear you say. And you're right. So the big, bossy borage is just right for fighting its way through the potato haulm and providing a nectar boost where there wouldn't normally be one.
