The honey bees were in flight at the weekend. Possibly just ‘cleansing’ flights rather than foraging.
As we prepare for a good frost tonight, the garden was making itself itself ready for the early pollinators to follow:

Bees in January, that's very early!
Honey bees leave their colonies for short ‘cleansing flights’ on cold bright days to defaecate.
