RSPB Pulborough Brooks nature reserve Sussex. 

Massive white-tailed eagle bothered by a red kite & lovely little hobbies among stars. 

Sitings of white-tailed eagles on Mull, in Helsinki and now Sussex this year will make 2023 exceptional.

The Sussex siting was truly exceptional as it is the first white-tailed eagle to have been bred in the wild in England in 243 years!!! An ornithological superstar!!

Swallows and house martins excited pre-migration chatter.

Black-tailed godwit, ruff and curlew sandpiper too.

Hornets nest.

But let’s not overlook ivy bees with yellow thorax on flowering ivy. Let ivy flower!!

Certainly worth a visit.
