An oxymoron: ‘certified organic farmed salmon’. 

The Soil Association is accused of allowing pesticides responsible for Parkinson's disease and cancer in humans to be used on their certified organic salmon.

PCBs are lipophilic, which means they have an affinity for fat tissues. Farmed salmon, like other fish, store PCBs in their fat & PCB levels in farmed salmon are notably elevated. 

This is attributed to the higher fat content in farmed salmon.

The answer is simple …..

don’t eat any intensively produced meat or fish. Including all farmed salmon.
