‘Blue pigeon’..

Care of a convalescing granddaughter (3) today. A coughing girl.

Poppa, of course, in role as pliant manservant to the little princess. 

Calpol. Antibiotics. Magnetic cars. A new fluffy elephant. Playdough ‘pies’. Jigsaws. Lotto. Peppa Pig and her friends in continuous loop.

And frequently popping into a corner of the screen is feed from the garage gable bird box. A stock dove (‘blue pigeon’) triggered the camera. Presumably a male prospecting, hoping to please his mate.

We did have successful breeding of stock doves in there a few years back. Two broods.

There may be too much disturbance since neighbours moved in with Titch, their little barking dog.

We’ll all be watching with interest.
