In the meadow, things are moving.

Thousands of tiny yellow rattle seedlings are just emerging.

Tiny seedlings emerge

They’re signature meadow plants. They parasitise grasses, sucking the vigour away and leaving room for less vigorous meadow plants.

I’ll take some as plugs and plant them into places where the grass is thuggish.
