slow but satisfying progress
Last weekend we had another day on the orchard.
And, oh, what satisfaction, to clear the ground of straggling oaks ... and blackthorn that whipped the face and arms with cruel thorns suggesting a family with a self-harming issue.
The primal satisfaction of cleared ground. And two more apple trees uncovered.
Right, our progress last time, and to the left, the further progress made.
But with many more days of work ahead.
