Southern elevation

Work on Waxwings continues with stonework completed to a height that can be completed without scaffolding. Scaffolding will go up next week and internal and external structural blockwork and stone will then be completed.
The southern elevation is stone faced.
The section closest to the camera is the annex.

northern elevation

The northern elevation will be finished with blockwork because this will be earth sheltered.

Expensive stone would be wasted here as the northern side of the building will be screened by earth mounding which will lead to the green roof.
