Unmeasured and unmonitored water abstraction
The Labour Party is rooted in towns and cities.
And as such has too-frequently seemed out of sympathy with nature, the environment and rural communities..
It’s advocacy for the natural world seems at best halfhearted.
I couldn’t find anything substantive from Labour Shadow Environment Minister, Jim McMahon, to the Labour Party Conference and so wrote to him.
No reply.
I’ve written again and included huge concerns raised in The Guardian about water abstraction:
I’ve also written to my constituency MP and Farming Minister Mark Spencer.
