Our best year for our native yellow flag iris.

Our native flowers encapsulate beauty in their ephemeral simplicity.

Possibly increased in number due to the higher water level.

George’s Pond

Lovely flowers. Encircle George’s Pond.

Perfect too for dragonflies to emerge and climb.

Their sloughed skins will soon leave exuviae jewels.

A mallard pair secreted amongst them.

The specialist moths of yellow flag iris haven’t reached us.
